Esta edici\u00f3n, con una espectacular cubierta in\u00e9dita, los re\u00fane en un solo volumen, con motivo del 50 aniversario de los primeros pasos del hombre en la Luna (20 de julio de 1969).<\/p>\n
Esta obra empez\u00f3 a publicarse en el semanario Tint\u00edn a partir del 30 de marzo del a\u00f1o 1950, diecinueve a\u00f1os antes de la llegada del hombre a la Luna. No se trata de ciencia ficci\u00f3n sino de una anticipaci\u00f3n tan precisa como le fue posible al autor. Herg\u00e9 entr\u00f3 en contacto con el doctor Bernard Heuvelmans, autor del libro L’homme parmis les \u00e9toiles (El hombre entre las estrellas), especialista en el tema, que colabor\u00f3 con el equipo.<\/p>\n
Se realiz\u00f3 una maqueta extraordinaria del cohete, que fue sometida a la aprobaci\u00f3n de Ananolf, autor del libro La astron\u00e1utica. Era enteramente desmontable y le permit\u00eda en todo momento al joven Bob de Moor, responsable principal de los decorados, saber en qu\u00e9 lugar de la nave espacial se encontraban los personajes.
\nHerg\u00e9 tiene la gracia de dar un tono humor\u00edstico a todas las escenas de explicaciones cient\u00edficas que podr\u00edan aburrir al lector. As\u00ed, cuando Wolf y Tornasol explican elementos m\u00e1s o menos complicados, all\u00ed est\u00e1 el capit\u00e1n Haddock para hacer saltar la sonrisa con sus r\u00e9plicas.<\/p>\n
