En 1893 escribi\u00f3 una carta repleta de dibujos al hijo de cinco a\u00f1os de su antigua institutriz sobre un conejo llamado Peter. A\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde pens\u00f3 en publicar la historia, y env\u00edo la propuesta a seis editores, que la rechazaron. No se dio por vencida e imprimi\u00f3 el libro ella misma. Con el volumen impreso consigui\u00f3 que Frederick Warne accediera a publicarlo. El libro, <em>The tale of Peter Rabbit<\/em>, se publicar\u00eda en 1902 y se convertir\u00eda en uno de los mayores \u00e9xitos de la literatura infantil.<\/p>\n","biografia-ca":"<p>Va n\u00e9ixer un 28 de juliol del 1866 a Kensington, Londres.
