En la escuela ya despuntaba en el arte, pero no pens\u00f3 en dedicarse a la ilustraci\u00f3n hasta que gan\u00f3 un concurso de dibujo. Se traslad\u00f3 a Inglaterra en 1982 para estudiar en la Academia de Arte de Bath, y luego se instal\u00f3 en Londres. Fue el ilustrador del primer \u00e1lbum infantil de Julia Donaldson, hecho que dio inicio a una asociaci\u00f3n de gran \u00e9xito. A l\u2019escola ja despuntava en el camp de l\u2019art, per\u00f2 no va pensar a dedicar-se a la il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 fins que va guanyar un concurs de dibuix. Es va traslladar a Anglaterra el 1982 per estudiar a l\u2019Acad\u00e8mia d\u2019Art de Bath, i despr\u00e9s es va instal\u00b7lar a Londres. Va ser l\u2019il\u00b7lustrador del primer \u00e0lbum infantil de Julia Donaldson, fet que va donar inici a una associaci\u00f3 de gran \u00e8xit.
