Naci\u00f3 en 1956 en Colmar, Francia. Se gradu\u00f3 en el Estudio de Ilustraci\u00f3n de Claude Lapointe, de la Escuela Superior de Artes Decorativas de Estrasburgo, y desde entonces se ha hecho un lugar como ilustrador infantil, con m\u00e1s de un centenar de libros bajo su nombre. Ha ganado multitud de galardones, incluido el Bologna Ragazzi Premio de No- ficci\u00f3n. Va n\u00e9ixer el 1956 a Colmar, Fran\u00e7a. Es va graduar a l\u2019Estudi d\u2019Il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 de Claude Lapointe, de l\u2019Escola Superior d\u2019Arts Decoratives d\u2019Estrasburg, i des d\u2019aleshores s\u2019ha fet un lloc com a il\u00b7lustrador infantil, amb m\u00e9s d\u2019un centenar de llibres sota el seu nom. Ha guanyat multitud de guardons, incl\u00f2s el Bologna Ragazzi Premi de No-ficci\u00f3.
